He is known as “The Great Swan”. Born in Bengal in 1836, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was a God-intoxicated saint and foremost devotee of the Divine Mother Kali. Though he knew God could be approached from many paths, his heart was with Mother. His fire lit many lamps and that light of devotion and experience continues to ripple forth throughout the cosmos ad infinitum.
